Visiting Scholars Program
The School of Education (SOE) visiting scholar program provides the opportunity for visiting scholars from our partner universities to collaborate with our faculty for as short as 3 months up to 12 months. During this time the visiting scholar will receive $1,500 for professional development (attending conferences etc.) while the VCU faculty will receive $5,000 to further the collaboration after the visiting scholar returns to their home university. It is also possible for graduate students to come as a visiting scholar where they can take courses in addition to conducting research. Our University International Office (GEO) works with us to provide visa support as well as other relocation assistance.
